A little about me
Well let’s see…I’m a 30-something year old, Brand New Mom of faith who, within the last 3.5 years, met my dear husband, tied the knot, rescued 2 puppies, bought a house and gave birth to our first little one (LO)! Still with me??
While I love my down-time, I am a full-time professional, part-time Uni student and a “some-time” dreamer. My curiosity often leads me to researching different ways to live a more spiritual, positive and enriching life to less pretentious stuff like online shopping, DIY-ing, fashion, cooking and even celebrity news.
I started this blog because while there is a tonne of information on starting a family out there, I still felt as though I was stumbling along at becoming a Brand New Mom. I knew life was going to change with the birth of my son, but I soon realized that there was a whole new dynamic of family life to be embraced. While I am far from an authority on the topic, why not write about my trials, failures and successes and go through this journey together?
That being said, prepare yourselves for the more than occasional corny joke, eye-rolling play on words, and over-usage of literary devices such as; asinine alliterations, superfluous similes, makeshift metaphors, boisterous blurbs, quick quips..etc.
Through all of it, I hope you can all laugh along with me or at least at me while we attempt to figure this all out. Blogging is relatively new to me so I intend on and look forward to breaking a few rules and having fun with you all along this journey together as a Brand New Mom!
